Regenerate Keep Fit with Sharon Prior
The beginning of a new year often heralds a
fresh determination to spend more time
taking care of our health and fitness. Many
New Years resolutions reflect a
determination to exercise more and eat a
healthier diet. But how does this equate to
our personal need to ‘Keep Fit’ for service?
Much of our time is devoted to the nurture,
discipleship and well being of the children,
young people and volunteers in our care
and we often neglect our own physical,
emotional and spiritual fitness. We would
like to invite you to take some time out to
meet other children’s and youth workers so
that together we can share experiences and
explore biblical and practical ways that we
can ‘Keep Fit’ for service.
We are delighted that Sharon Prior is able
to join us for the day. As well as providing
training for both secular and Christian
organisations Sharon is a university lecturer
and also spends much of her time coaching
and mentoring leaders within the church
and Christian organisations.

Regenerate - The Programme:
9.45 Arrivals and coffee.
10.15 Welcome, worship and word.
11.00 Keep Fit - Sharon Prior.
12.15 Lunch.
13.15 Getting practical - Sharon Prior.
14.45 Closing response and reflections

There will be a charge of £10. This
includes morning coffee, and a hot lunch.
If booking by post, please include cheques
payable to Scripture Union. If booking by
email please pay on the day. There will
be a resources stall so do come prepared
with your wallet!

You might like to be part of an excellent day to meet with other childrens and youthworkers to refresh and get fit for service. Take time for yourself so that you can be effective for others.
