Encouraging churches to think childrens work important

How do we get churches without children to realise they need to put some effort and dare I say money into reaching the children in their locality? Schools are often open to help from the church and that is where the children are but how many churches have good links with their local primary school or would pay/encourage someone to help build a link on their behalf

Interestingly enough the primary school our biys went to did the reaching out! They made links with the church! It seems a bit topsy turvy but it works.
