Thanks Alan - can't wait to see the podcast of Mark's presentation. Much enjoyed last night at Hove, but SO much to take in! Just loved his tagline, "Not 'them and us' . . . but 'some of us, for ALL of us'! "

Watch out for more details here of the material from One Gen once the tour dates have finished...

Just got back from hearing Mark at Trinity Cheltenham tonight. Awesome stuff. Struggling to know how to put into words, what I feel / sense in my heart. Listening to him speak was like refreshing water for my soul, reminding me why I am on this planet... My heart is for child evangelism, and he spoke so many things that resonated with me..

Alan I'm just curious if this will be where the slides from Marks presentation will go up? Wednesday at Cliff was great, some very thought provoking stuff. Hope to post a thought or two this week to get some more discussion going. Thanks.

Mark's research, book and presentations provide valuable insight into the Hebrew traditions of passing faith from one generation to the next; the incredible far reaching impact of the Sunday School Movement - as propagated by Robert Raikes; together with learning from some current church based children's outreach projects.

There are valuable insights for us that better equip us to steward time and resource when forming faith in the next generation...

If you are reading this before the 2009 dates have all passed, then do try to get to a venue near you (there will be a few more dates in 2010)

...it will challenge and inspire those in church leadership to step back and assess how we are doing in laying the foundations of faith in those who follow on from us.

It will also equip all those working with children to consider what can be done with families and churches and where child evangelism may be needed in order to bridge the gaps that currently exist.
