Am really inspired by inclusive church article above. But will need to think carefully about how we do this practically; e.g. how do we get the message to expectant mothers in the first place. Would love to hear from people who have tried this in a UK church.
I'm looking for inspirational stories of your work with children who have additional need for my blog.
People tend to connect more with story than they do with the "Why aren't the church doing more?" type posts, so we thought a series of guest posts on my blog would be helpful :o)
They need to be no more than 600 words and be realistic as well as inspirational.
Let me know if you can help.
Posted on my page - Info about a forum for those working with kids with special needs and their families. Linked with the Hand in Hand conference in Feb. Check it out here
We have room for a couple more families on this amazing retreat w/e for families who have kids with complex needs http://bit.ly/SRHhmM
Please could you pass on the info to any families you feel would benefit.
I've already posted this in the theology group - but thought you guys would like a chance to join the discussion too:
A question I've posed on my personal blog - God's Will...? http://bit.ly/AfX2Yp Would be good to have thoughts from my fellow theologians!!
