Eleanor is my beautiful 11 year old daughter and she has ASD. She was diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old and is in an Autism specific unit at School. I assist her in her youth group and fail terribly but am willing to share my experieneces with those who want to talk about how to cope and have useful resources to share.

Can someone point me towards a christian holiday for a young man , 19yrs, with Aspergers Syndrome . He would like to be able to attend without parents.

Hi, all. I thought I would introduce myself since I am new to the group. I am a special education teacher and a Christian. I am currently teaching at University, educating undergraduate teachers about including children with special needs in inclusive classrooms. I am also writing a series of picture books inspired by Bible stories that will help children develop social skills - this is my ministry.
