Methodists want to resource 175,000
The Church remains committed to children and young people, and are
forming a new Children’s and Youth Team to bring all of this work
together. The active participation of children and young people
will be at the heart of all we do, and this new team will include
the five year, £4 million pilot project of a new Youth
Participation Strategy. The focus of this is providing salaried
year-long opportunities for young people to work alongside their
peers to address issues and needs in local, regional and national
contexts. National development officers along with regional youth
participation workers will make up the new Children and Youth Team,
which will support the 175,000 children and young people associated
with Church projects and develop new initiatives.

Scripture Union
We are looking for someone to join our field ministry staff, who
will take the lead in research and advise on good practice so that
Scripture Union’s ministry with children and young people with
special needs is developed.
