Director and Founder of Real Life Parenting (Charity).
Employs 30 staff and alot of volunteers
We work with 300+ families with disabled children and young people in Newham, East London
Activities for kids include after school clubs, playschemes and one to one work
My role throughout is training
I started by writing a book called 'Moving On' which contains a parenting course for parents with disabled children (Published by Routledge/ David Fulton)
My focus now is training
for staff but also wider as a free lance trainer locally and nationally
What I know most about is working with parents, groupwork and person centred planning which is brilliant for disabled kids
I'm a parent of 2 disabled children, my youngest has profound and complex needs
I've become significantly interested in engaging Christians locally and nationally in getting involved with families with disabled children

Moving On To... (Personal Deelopment and Disability Equality course for parents of disabled and SEN children)
Shaping The Future - Community Development course to enable parents and professionals to plan positively for the futures of disabled children and young people
Groupwork Skills - for parents and professionals
Disability Equality - for professionals
Person Centred Planning - for parents and professionals
Also train natioanlly for Dfes (Early Support) and East Kent PCT
