Hi Lee ... good to hear what you are up too ... can't help you much with materials I am afraid though ... I train up here in Birmingham and write my own materials for the 'Future Builders' and get my other lecturers to do the same ...

The one thing above all though ... is get them out there doing ! I am sure you are though ! Put them out there, with an experienced worker, and let God train them ... great experience alongside your great input ... great results !

That's what we have been doing for some years anyway !

All the best

Dave

Love to hear from you,

How are you fixed later in July?
BLessings,
Yvonne

'Christ in me - the hope of glory!' Gosh!

Have been challenged for sometime by the passage in Colossians 1:27 which tells us that the gospel has been revealed to the world and the good news is wrapped up in me! Jesus in me, the hope of glory. The hope of the world, the good news, the gospel is wrapped up in me! the hope of glory for me, and hope of glory for others - is in me, because his Spirit is in me!

Nothing new here, not a grand revelation, just a dawning realisation of the fact that my life should bring flesh and blood

'To Be Or Not To Be' in Uniform?

Guess this seems like a crazy blog for most Christians out there! Uniform is such an alien concept for many Christians. But being in the part of the Church that is The Salvation Army, it is not such a strange concept. Well except that it is!

For a long time I have been questioning my wearing of uniform, does it seem weird and crazy to those outside of the organisation and the Church. Does it set me up as someone who sees themself as someone better than everyone else, does it isolate me
