Hi Hannah - There wasn't any research, just an aching pain inside me when I realised that most people (not just children) didn't know who came first, Abraham or Moses. I believe that BA was set up by God to meet this need. I was a research scientist in my former life and will be more than willing to help you in any way I can in your research. I have used BA in primary schools over 5 weeks and also over two years as 10-minute children's talks in church. Have just started in another church and the adults love it too.
Hope this is helpful.
Blessings,
Jane xx

hi jane, great to hear from you - i have introduced lots of teachers to Godly Play/reflective storytelling in Scotland, mostly through in-service that is offered to primary school teachers through their local authority brochures and cpd programmes - i am wondering if you could get your programme into brochures (although they are mostly going to print right now for 2008/9 school session so you would have to be very quick about talking to QIOs !) - if you have some, i'd be glad to give out publicity in the resources folders that i provide for in-service and consultancy work - that would maybe reach a lot of teachers in south lanarkshire, north lanarkshire, glasgow city, east/west dumbartonshire, stirling and east renfrewshire - it is always good to have something to put into people's hands when i go do consultancy work for RME in schools - right now schools are re-doing their RME schemes of work in the light of A Curriculum for Excellence so there is a lot of room to encourage people to put good material into their schemes as long as it is ACfE friendly - be good to talk some more about this - email me if you like at juliekenny@waitrose.com and we can have an e-natter about possibilities - peace, julie
