Hi Julie - I'm most impressed with all you're doing. I'm involved in training people to take the Bible Alive programme into primary schools as part of the RE curriculum. We've trained 50 since September 2005. More info on www.biblealive.info. Our vision is to have BA as part of the Curriculum in all Scottish primary schools and would be glad to hear from you as to how we might progress this under God's mighty hand.

have you read that book ... I wonder a bit about it ... it seems far too interested in 'getting non-christians, than actually training parents ... what material are you using? I have been trained with 'Positive Parenting' which has been good ... I was wondering what else there was

yes, i am an educator, chartered teacher in scotland, just starting my educational doctorate in raising spiritually nourished children, i am an accredited godly play teacher, bright start teacher, philosophy for children leader, developmental assets/handling children's behaviour/therapeutic crisis intervention/custaad/sebd facilitator - i have post graduate qualifications in religious education, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, leadership and management in education, creativity - i was licensed as a pastor for the baptist union of western canada and am an ARROW leadership and evanglelism graduate

have been a church of england children's worker, baptist children's pastor, baptist union advisor (in canada) and now freelance consultant/advisor with all denominations in scotland, but i don't belong to any - right now i am part of a neighbourhood weekend 'brunch' gathering for families - an emerging missional community

bounce clubs offer children creative and playful adventures which raise their spiritual,emotional and social capital - i teach rme and lead ro in schools - i work with sebd children in educational therapy -i am a school chaplain and run groups for parents and staff in Handling Children's Behaviour - i lead philosophy for children, godly play and bright start activities - i am pastor amongst an emerging group of families - bigstuff runs fun family friendly events - i have my own children and their many friends

yes - i lecture at the international christian college here in glasgow (child growth and development, learning, spirituality, leadership in christian ministry) - i offer inservice for teachers and senior managers in schools in creativity, spiritual development, religious and moral education, religious observance, emotional literacy, developmental assets, handling children's behaviour and parenting - i am active in running continuing professional development opportunities for those that are involved in ministry amongst children and their families for all the major denominations in scotland right now - i am a regular conference and seminar speaker, creative workshop facilitator, event organiser and forum group member (especially for all age ministry, raising spiritually nourished children, developing creative community partnerships, church planting for children and family focussed emerging ministries)
