Dave Roberts Respond to the Government on sex education for infants

An Eastbourne based group is seeking to support Family Education Trust (http://www.famyouth.org.uk/) and their publication "Too much too soon", and be part of a response to a public consultation. The Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) has launched a 12 week public consultation on its plans for PSHE, including sex and relationships education. Teenagers even say family, friends, money, music and even reality television are more important than religion. Dave Roberts EA report notes teenage compassion

Teenagers are contributing £300m each year to the economy, says a new report from the Evangelical Alliance. The report found that 45% of young people volunteer once a month and 80% regularly donate money to charity. Dave Roberts Petition to highlight child's view of domestic violence

Nearly 25,000 people have signed a petition urging the government to see domestic violence from a child's point of view. The petition, which calls for the government to take action to address the shortage of refuges and therapy services for child victims of domestic violence, was handed to children's minister Dawn Primarolo. Dave Roberts Nearly all four-year-olds in free childcare scheme

All four-year-olds have been entitled to a free early education place since 1998, an offer that was extended to three-year-olds in April 2004. Research conducted by the Department for Children, Schools and Families earlier this year shows that 98 per cent of all four-year-olds are accessing the free offer.
