Dave Roberts Pupils bullied for faith

One in four children with a religious belief is bullied at school as a result of their faith, research shows. The findings have prompted anti-bullying campaigners to urge ministers to make it compulsory for schools to record all incidents of faith-based bullying, as they have to do in cases of racism and homophobia. Dave Roberts Anti-bullying charity "disturbed" by survey findings

More than half of parents who have attended anti-bullying charity Kidscape's workshops for bullied children say their child has contemplated or attempted suicide. The charity surveyed more than 1,000 parents who took part in its intensive assertiveness sessions for bullied children.
