A friend recommended I read this book, knowing how heavily I implement child protection!! Whilst freely acknowledging that most child abuse occurs within family/household groups, this book is a loud wake-up call to all of us - especially to churches - not to be naive when it comes to the need for constant vigilence and prompt, appropriate and wise action when protecting children. Whilst at Spring Harvest I met a lovely gentleman who is dyslexic. He was concerned that there are no Bibles suitable for dyslexics (Yellow pages, one column of print instead of two, clearer font such as arial etc). Being a tenacious sort of person, he would like to research this further and see what can be done. I work with a lot of Children and Children's workers who are dyslexic and agree with him - life would be much easier with a Bible like this! If you can help - or just want to encourage… Continue
