Children's Ministry 2009 Announced
The Next Children's Ministry Conference:
23rd - 25th January 2009.
A new bookings site is being developed and will open by the end of September.
Keynote Speaker: Rev Joel Edwards
An optional seminar and workshop programme encompassing five streams:
Faith forming: including different models for discipleship and nurturing faith in children.
Family friendly: including parenting support and fresh expressions for all-age worship.
Community: including schools ministry, extended school opportunities, clubs and sports programmes.
Under 5s: including young family support, toddler groups and nurturing faith.
Tweenagers: including understanding the culture of 9-13s, outreach, discipleship and nurturing faith.
Each stream will go back to the source – exploring what we can learn for the Bible; look at foundations of good ministry and understanding children and provide a host of practical ideas for stories, games, prayer, activity and music. We will also look at some of the specific challenges of helping children with specific needs and issues.
