Would Sunday School teachers or anyone dealing with children please take note that it is unwise to supply food or drinks, particularly sweets without checking in with the parents first. Children with ADHD, Aspergers etc can be adversely affected by some foods and may feel pressured into accepting treats when they are actually on special diets. I can personally testify that I have seen these special diets are very effective in helping children with ADHD and Aspergers lead relatively normal lives, but all the hard and sometimes distressing work that the parents have to put in to ensure that they receive the correct foods can be undone in a second. The worst culprits are glutin, msg's, sweetners, food colourings etc, they can be as addictive and destructive as heroine to these children. Thanks
