Children's comic opportunity - URGENT!

Many people in long-term mission claim that God first caught their interest before they were a teenager. Yet very few mission agencies produce anything for this age group. This is the sort of important resource that is perfectly suited to a combined and united response. We can do together what we could not or would not have the resources to do separately.

Primarily and initially for use at New Horizon in Northern Ireland this year, MAP, Global Connections and Christian Vocations are producing a children's mission comic which we think could be used much wider over the next year or two. It will be called Global Kidz and a draft of some of the pages is attached. This is not the final version. [Note from Ruth: I don't have this draft yet -- hope to be able to add it to this post shortly!]

This is a special offer to you as a Global Connections member to buy copies at a pre-production cost that you could use over the next few years.

You could -
- send copies out for the children of your key supporters,
- distribute them whenever you are asked to take a children's talk in a church service,
- use them on children's Christian holidays,
- circulate them through youth clubs and Bible classes.

This comic will be in full colour and be 8 pages of stories and activities. Just by distributing them to children in the churches you visit, you could use many hundreds in a few months.

We are offering them to you and the following special prices. They will be delivered to you in August, so you have them ready for the autumn:
500 copies for £100
200 copies for £50

The only snag is that we need a very rapid response to this special offer. The offer ends on the 1 July 2009, so you need to act immediately.
