The idea is that a local primary school visits a local Church for a morning or afternoon to focus on Christmas. The aim: To provide a warm welcome to the children and staff who attend and to communicate the story of Christmas or Easter. About 9000 pupils have seen one of these presentations since 1995. Recently I was talking with a 20 year old student from one of the schools who remembers in a positive light his visit to the Church and the impact the presentation had on him. We have also seen this event develop in other areas. Approx 30 locations – 200 schools – 11.000 pupils and these are just the ones I am aware of.
