messy church saltburn by the sea

hi we having been running merssy church on sunday afternoon for 1 yr now. and it is very successful. families from church coming and families from the local communities. we decided 12 months ago familiy services were not really working - poorly attended and very short time and it was hard to try and meet the needs of children,teenagers,young adults and mature adults and eldery. so we stopped the service and was inspired to start messy church on a sunday afternoon from about 3.30pm - 5.30pm. which involves craft and cooking workshops and other creative workshops with a biblical theme. team family games,short celebration together with prayer,worship,bible inspiring stories and drama/in which we use crafts and creative items made by families in celebration in telling a parable/story from bible. and we also have a buffet style tea together that gives us time to relax and talk to each other and be together as a family.

its a awesome time together to celebrate God through workshops,celebration and food togrether.,
