Dave, Thanks for setting up this site and for giving us the opportunity to network with other chldrens workers. As a newie I hope to learn lots!
Have you been involved with auditing childrens work? If so, is it just a case of designing your own tool or are there guidelines out there? I have offered to help audit the childen work at our church's away day on 25h Nov.and am wanting to involve the children understandably! but do I use symbols like happy and sad faces for the younger children to communicate their opinons and simple yes/no answers for the older child. Any advice greatly received!I have asked Andi but am not sure how to ask everyone without just leaving comments on their comment wall. I am not a computer whiz!!

Dave, great to see how God's using the site to connect people and share His passion for children and His creativity for ministering to and them and to us! Send me info about the next Children Matter conference. Blessings!

Praise God that I have found your website. I am blessed to read materials for children's ministry as well as to learn from others about their experiences. I am also happy to share our experiences.
May God richly bless you and your family.

I've been asked to improve the physical security for the teachers and children in our Sunday School. I'm interested in the practices in other churches, kids clubs etc. Specifically, practices around registration of children, control of access into the building or location where the children are, badges or uniforms identifying adults as teachers, (volunteer) security staff etc. The child protection group has two members, and so I was hoping to find a way to go wider to ask for help. Any suggestions?
I really thought the Children's ministry conference was fantastic! Me and two friends from church didn't want to leave! we have felt very encouraged and blessed by going. Thank you.
Hi Dave, hope you recovered from the weekend? The guys from my church as usual raved about it. I also enjoyed the vast amounts of coffee and the chance to network a little morel. Did you get a chance to have a look at the Leadkidz DVD? What did you think? Are you happy for me to link them to the site sometime?
Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Dave I've just joined this and would like to ask a couple of things
Have you ever thought about setting up some sort of page on here devoted to books and literature. I think that would be a huge help to the people using your site.
I'd also like to contact directly the people organising the child evangelism event in Luton on March 4th - how do I do that?
Catherine Mackenzie
I'll try and phone you sometime this week then. Regarding the book page I think it would be good if you had a page where people could upload a book title that they've used by placing a link. They insert a review and then people can leave comments after that. Or you could choose a panel of individuals that you know are keen advocates of the printed page and ask them to do a review or two each month of books that they have used with kids or given to kids within their work. Catherine
Dave,
I am doing a dissertation for a degree on Christian work in schols. Can you advise me as to any contact addresses that would be suitable, as well as literature, including boks and journals etc.
Finally can you advise me as to how I can contact Mark Griffiths please!
Thanks for your help,
Stuart Jarvis
