Event Description

- 230 years of child evangelism in 230 minutes!

For the last five years Mark Griffiths has been studying child evangelism in the United Kingdom.  In this special training event he will present some of the findings of that research.

The research looked at the work of Robert Raikes and the formation of Sunday Schools in 1780, the development of those Sunday Schools through history, and the child evangelism projects that have been developed through the latter part of the 20th century and early part of the 21st century.  This study has significant implications for the way we do child evangelism, and based on the findings, Mark will advance a methodology for child evangelism today.

These sessions are for children’s workers, those in parachurch organisations working with children, church leaders and anyone serious about seeing the church grow and the Kingdom of God extended.
