Regenerate North-East

Even those with experience of working with children and young people need to go back to the basics sometimes! This daytime Regenerate event will look at what makes work with children and young people in church successful, and explore effective approaches and the principles behind making contact with those outside the church. Come along for inspiration, laughter, support and encouragement as Nick Harding takes us through these keys to our ministry.

Nick is Children's Ministry Adviser for the Church of England in Nottinghamshire and has a number of other roles including as a trustee of Scripture Union, member of Church of England General Synod, leader of all-age worship at Spring Harvest, and is a magistrate. He has been in full-time ministry connected with children, young people and education for over 20 years, has written many resource books and books for teenagers, speaks at conferences all over the place, and has a rather sad hobby to do with buses! Nick is married to Clare, a dynamic teacher and churchwarden, and they have two teenage sons.
